The charge controller is used to regulate the current flowing from the solar panels to the batteries. These solar controllers prevent the battery from the damages caused by overcharge and disconnect the battery in case of severe discharge by shutting of loads. MPPT technology introduction:

MPPT means maximum power point tracking. It makes the solar panels work at maximum point(ext Point B) by using power conversion technology. eMPPT is the new charge controller researched and developed by our company, and it uses the MCU to track the maximum power point of solar panels intelligently to generate more power from the solar panels. 

Protection against various parameters:

• Solar /battery reverse polarity.
• Reverse current flow battery to solar array during night
• Over charging current and short circuit.

• Excessive temperature of heat sink

(1) Maximum Power Point Tracking technology

The controller uses Buck conversion circuit and MCU technology to track the maximum power point to implement the maximum output power of solar panels in different illumination intensity and temperature. The MPPT algorithm increases efficiency of your PV system and decreases the quantity of solar panels.

(2) Multi-stage Charge Control

The starting charging voltage of battery is different, the controller will use the different charging strategies to finalize the charging process. When starting charging voltage of battery is lower than 12.4V (for 12V battery), battery will go through three stages as Bulk, Absorption and Float charging. When starting charging voltage of battery is higher than 12.4V (for 12V battery), battery will go through two stages as Bulk and Float charging.

Before connecting to the solar panel, please connect the controller to the battery; do not use solar panel supply power 
to the loads directly. 

Notes:
Do not use lamplight to charge the solar panel (lamplight is too weak to charge) 
DC power source to replace the solar panel will cause troubles to controller.
