Two-phase flow pulp pump (LXL type) is designed and manufactured by adopting the latest research results from the solid-liquid two-phase flow. It breaks the traditional design method of the impurity pump and the movement of solid in the pump is seen as the discontinuous boundary conditions of the liquid movement. Due to the presence of solid particles, a distortion is caused in the velocity field of water flow with respect to the clear water and also occurs in the flow channel of the water flow, meanwhile, with the different inertial force of the solid-liquid two-phase, the speed of the movement is always different in the pump. According to the distortion law in the movement velocity field and pressure field of the solid-liquid two phase flow within the pump, solve the different velocities and movement trail of the solid-liquid phase and perform the flow channel and hydraulic design to make it in line with the movement law of the solid-liquid phase flow in the pump and thereby obtain the best energy conversion. Therefore, the hydraulic efficiency, cavitation performance and service life of the pump can be greatly improved. It can widely be used to convey solid-liquid two-phase medium for metallurgy, mining, coal, electricity, food, paper-making, sugar manufacturing, building materials, transportation, water conservancy and urban sewage departments.
